Once again, thanks to the kind cooperation of Linda Jones and Whizzard Helicopters, we’ll be running our small but beautifully formed 17th Fish and Chip Fly-in on Saturday 10th September at Welshpool, EGCW. It will follow the usual format: arrivals any time during Saturday with the Fish and Chips order placed late afternoon and served in the cafe room from about 6pm, with soft drinks/beers/wine available. For those who wish to stay overnight, we’ll publish ‘Arthur’s List’ soon with details of local B&B’s etc, and willing helpers will be around to drop-off/collect you at/from accommodation, with departures Sunday am. For those of you who can’t stay for the evening, you’ll be more than welcome to come along for lunch and a natter in the Airport cafe which will be open for normal business until 4pm when we will take over occupancy. Landings will be free with upload of 50L fuel, and overnight parking charges waived. Stick it in your diary now, and let me know if you are likely to join us. I’ll collect PPR details from you closer to the time.
